OVEREND (Elko), Valerie

With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Valerie Overend (Elko) on Saturday, May 27, 2023, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family and friends.

She will be forever loved by Dennis (husband), her daughters ("the girls"), Michelle (Brian), Denise (Jason), Lisa (Kevin), and Teresa. She was cherished by grandchildren Ciera, Mya, Easton, and Bentley, along with being Nanny Val to the Overend grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed by her brother Jackie (Gene), cousins Wendell and Carolyn, and remembered by her many friends and family across Ontario and Nova Scotia for her uniqueness and abundant personality.

A special thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and volunteers at RVH and Hospice Simcoe for their care and support.

Memorial service took place Saturday June 3, 2023, at St. Peters Anglican Church in Churchill, ON.
