80, of Liverpool, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital on Monday, December 4, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Port Mouton, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Helen (Roy) Roy. Elizabeth worked as a waitress at the former Wong’s restaurant in her early years where she met her husband Harold. She loved to cook and bake for her family and was always up for a road trip especially when it involved shopping. She also loved her dogs. She will be lovingly remembered by her family as “the best mother, grandmother and great-grandmother in the world." Elizabeth is survived by her daughters Jacqueline Johnson of Hubley, Sandy (Jamie) Legge of Milton, Tammy Whynot (David Henderson) of Brooklyn, her sons Kevin (Joanne) of Liverpool, Garry (Barbara) of Charleston, Larry (Betty Jean) of Mill Village, Harold (Denise) of Liverpool. 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Son-in-law Terry Kaulback of Lunenburg. Sisters Dolly (Irving) Tudge of Ottawa, ON; Julie (Arthur) Hurshman and Wendy Fisher (Dana Williams) both of Liverpool; Millie (Glen) Spence of Western Head; Brothers Tony of Mersey Point; Rex (Emily), Ricky (Annette) and Kenny (Susan) all of Port Mouton. Many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Harold Eugene; her daughter Ann Kaulback, great-grandson Keith Rolfe and her brother Paul. Funeral service will be Friday, December 8, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Reverend Judy Cross officiating. Reception to follow. A private family burial will be at Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Liverpool.
