JOUDREY, Beulah

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Beulah Joudrey on February 23, 2024, at Harbour View Haven, Lunenburg. Born November 17, 1927, in East Pubnico and enjoyed calling Mahone Bay home for the majority of her life.

Survived by her daughter, Sandra Williams and granddaughter Michelle Williams, Endicott, NY; grandson, Michael Williams, Clinton, MD; sister, Lorraine MacQuarrie, Bridgewater. Known as Gigi to her extended family, Dwight and Dorothy Rattray, Mahone Bay; Debbie and Michael Baker, Bedford and their daughters, Jessica (Kyle) and Jillian; Dwight and Jackie Rattray, Clearland; David Rattray and Suzanne Hyatt, Sarasota, FL.

Beulah was predeceased in 1983 by her husband, Scott Joudrey; her parents, Ursa and Cecil Larkin; brothers, Ellsworth and Eugene; sisters, Florence and Eleanor.

The family would like to thank Harbour View Haven for the care provided over the past year. Much gratitude is expressed to her friends at Mahone Manor who were angels that watched over her, just as she had done for so many before.

Beulah’s wishes were for cremation. A celebration of life and interment will be announced at a later date. Donations in her memory are requested to be made to the Victorian Order of Nurses, Lunenburg County Branch. Those we love can never be more than a thought apart, for as long as there’s a memory, they live on in our heart. We were blessed to have had you in our lives and your spirit of generosity to all, you knew will live on in all of us. An angel on earth and now above, her light will always shine.
