It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our son, Benjamin Kerry Naugler, on March 26, 2021 in Victoria, BC.

Born in Bridgewater, NS on April 2, 1983, Ben was just thirty-seven years old when he died. Ben will be forever loved by his parents, Kerry and Jocelyn Naugler of Conquerall Bank; his sister and brother-in-law, Darah and Grant Rivalin and nephew Thomas Benjamin of Dartmouth; grandmother, Lois Whitehouse of Bridgewater; grandfather, Keith Naugler of Camperdown; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ben is predeceased by his grandfather, John Whitehouse and his grandmother, Estella Naugler.

Ben was an intelligent and creative person, with a passion for music, especially playing the guitar. In his teenage years, he was an avid athlete and a strong competitor in soccer and basketball, playing on teams across the region. Ben will be remembered for his extraordinary determination and perseverance. He loved his family, and cherished his time spent with his nephew, Tommy.

Ben struggled with mental illness and addiction issues. He stayed connected to his family through the ups and downs, and was always hopeful that he could find a healthier path and overcome his challenges. Ben is at peace now and will be forever missed.
