Mary J. Farmer: It is with great sadness that the family of Mary J. Farmer announces her sudden passing on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at the age of 77. Mary was the daughter of the late Tracey and Laura (Hatt) Dorey of Bridgewater. Mary is survived by her husband Alfred A. Farmer; daughters Valerie White, Teresa Richardson (Ken), her niece Rhonda Jefferson, whom she considered a daughter; grandchildren Kristin White, Megan White and Jeremy Jefferson; great grandson Graycen Meisner; sisters Irene Dorey and Pauline Miller; sisters in-law Betty Dorey, Glenda Dorey, and Donna Dorey; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sister Barbara Brown; a brother in infancy; brothers Merle Dorey, Donald Dorey and Willis Dorey and son in-law Tony White. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. on Friday, January 12 at Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. The memorial service will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 13 at Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Canadian Cancer Society. Mary’s kindness and compassion will always be remembered.
