ZINCK, Marilyn Burdette

It is with deep sorrow that we, the family, announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, Marilyn Burdette Zinck, May 18, 2023, at the age of 93, in South Shore Regional Hospital.

Marilyn was born in Chester Basin on August 25, 1929, to Keith and Clara (Zinck) Webber. She was married to Frank C. Zinck, and they raised their family in Chester Basin. She was a member of the Grace Anglican Church.

Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Laurie) Hiltz, Dartmouth, and Kathy Lethbridge, Chester Basin. She had three grandchildren, Darcy-Lynn Hiltz and Kevin (Angela) Hiltz, both of Dartmouth, and Jessica (Ryan) Ellingwood, Markdale, ON. She is survived by brothers, Robert (Gwendolyn) Webber, Chester Grant; Frederick Webber, Chester Basin; and sisters, Donna (Sandy) Gordon, Fredericton, NB, Wanda Bennett, Chester Basin, Katherine (Dana) Mader, Halifax. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Frank Zinck; brothers, Mervin Webber and Dale Webber, and sister, Anna Marie Bond.

A graveside service was held in Grace Anglican Church Cemetery, Chester Basin, on Thursday, May 25, 2023. Donations will be gratefully accepted to Grace Anglican Church, Chester Basin, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
