MARTIN (Penney), Margaret Patience

Age 90, of Pleasantville, passed away on July 4th, 2018 at home. Margaret is the daughter of the late Fred and Dorothy Penney. She was a member of the Happy Hookers Rug Group and the Dawson Memorial Auxiliary. She was also a Life member of the Pleasantville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Jack Timm Martin; sons, John F. Martin (wife, Carole D. Thomas) and Thomas Orvan Martin (wife, Sandra Martin); grandsons, Travis Martin (wife, Roseanna), Spencer Martin (wife, Brittany); granddaughters, Rebecca Martin-Warr (husband, Andrew), Emily Martin and Kathryn Martin; great-grandchildren, Caleb Martin, Ellis Martin and Hazel-Mae Martin. Besides her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her sister, Miriam Penney and many Penney cousins. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of C.F. Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. A celebration of life will held on Tuesday, July 10th, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater, Rev. Simon Davies officiating, with a visitation to take place from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. in the church. The family will be gathering in the Church Hall before the service. An interment will be held in the Pleasantville Cemetery, Pleasantville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to the Pleasantville Fire Department or a charity of choice.
