VEINOT, Ronald Arthur

Age 77 of New Canada, passed away peacefully at the South Shore Regional Hospital January 26, 2019. He has gone to his eternal resting place to be with his best friend, "Peter", and his purr-fect cat, "Rosie". Son of the late Arthur and Arlene (Wentzell) Veinot, Ronald is survived by his wife of 55 years, Bette (Wilson) Veinot, and son Paul (Carla, Cas). Ronald was a Boy Scout, Air Cadet, 4-H member and leader, salesman, school bus driver, animal lover, Christian, always a farmer by heart, and more. Whether or not you knew Ronald personally, you still may have been "the subject of" or "subject to" his love of storytelling. A Celebration of Life service was held February 1 at St. James Lutheran Church, Branch LaHave, and interment was at St. James Cemetery. Pastor Svante Olson officiated, assisted by Rev. Neil McEwen. As requested by Ronald, a "Lunch and Talk" was held for family and friends at the Branch LaHave Community Hall following the service. Memorial donations may be made to St. James Lutheran Church, or the charity of your choice. Arrangements were entrusted to R.A. Corkum's Funeral Home, Wileville, NS.
