The Bluenose Academy's Mardi Gras festival fundraiser was held Feb. 24 with hundreds of young and old flocking to the school to help fundraise for class trips, clubs and athletic teams. Along with some great food, there were many activities including mini golf, carnival games, face painting, toonie toss, silent auction, hockey and basketball shooting, and of course, inflatables. An estimated $12,000 was raised thanks to the support of the attendees and sponsors.
