Can you believe that we are getting ready to wrap up 2023? This year has flown by! At the time of writing this, we still have one month to go, but we are definitely on track for one of the busiest years ever! Already in 2023 we have:

• Taken in 460 cats and 32 dogs

• Had 455 surgeries completed (mostly routine spays and neuters

• Spent over $100,500 in medical bills and supplies

• Had 50 feral cats spayed and neutered and rehomed in our "Barn Buddy" program

• Assisted 16 low-income families with having their pets spayed and neutered

• Provided a Community Pantry full of pet food and supplies to our community in need for the entire year

• Provided eight low-cost microchip clinics to our community's pets• Built on our volunteer options and availability for those in our community wanting to help. Our little shelter is making big plans for the coming year to further improve our facility and community programs. Be sure to follow us on Facebook (SHAID Tree Animal Shelter) to see our pets who are available for adoption, updates on animals who have been adopted into loving homes, lost or found community pets, fundraisers currently on the go, and helpful education in pet ownership.

We would like to thank our community for your ongoing support in helping us help homeless and abandoned pets in need, as we all look forward to celebrating the holidays with our family, friends, and pets.
