Liverpool fire forces family out of home

The Canadian Red Cross reports that they have helped an adult couple with two daughters with emergency lodging, and food and clothing purchases after they were displaced following a fire that damaged their two-storey home in Liverpool.

Canadian Red Cross volunteers came to the aid of the family, which includes an infant, while they await a damage assessment and additional help through insurance.

There were no injuries from the fire on King Street, reported around 2:30 p.m. on November 9.
