LIVERPOOL - Mother Nature co-operated this time and offered up a warm night for the first Light Up Queens Winter Night Festival held in Liverpool March 16, hosted by the Region of Queens Municipality and its many partners.

The event was originally scheduled for Feb. 24, the tail end of Lobster month but was cancelled due to bad weather.

This was a great way to say goodbye to winter and welcome spring attracting hundreds of people young and old to enjoy things like some great music, a toasty fire to roast s'mores, night kite flying, chowder, treats, and a night market all down by the Liverpool waterfront.
