Bridgewater robbery suspects in custody

Bridgewater Police now have two suspects in custody following the June 12 robbery of Pendleton Corner Store in Bridgewater.

Police executed two criminal search warrants on June 14, one on a Bridgewater residence, the other on a vehicle.

The warrants came on the heels of the robbery in which two males entered the corner store at the corner of King Street and Jubilee Road at approximately 8:30 p.m. on the Tuesday evening.

The males where dressed in black with their faces covered walked behind the store counter and took cash and a large amount of cigarettes. The store clerk was present at the time and was unharmed. The suspects fled the area in a small car.

Police determined the vehicle was a small red Mazda which was waiting on South St. The vehicle was last seen on Meadow Lane heading towards Jubilee Road.

Both parties are still in custody and the investigation is continuing.
